Kerala’s Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, launched the Vijnana Keralam Initiative, a transformative step towards creating future-ready professionals.
Key Highlights:
- 2 lakh final-year students will receive advanced skill training
- 1 lakh targeted job placements across industries
- Special programs for homemakers and educated unemployed professionals, making skilling inclusive and accessible to all

Surpassing Job Opportunity Targets
The Skill Kerala Global Summit initially aimed to create 50,000 job opportunities, but the results exceeded all expectations.
- 1,28,408 job offers were generated through Expressions of Interest (EOIs).
- Opportunities spanned engineering, healthcare, logistics, ITI, diploma, and graduate sectors.
